For Time & Eternity... Mr. and Mrs. Pace

Friday, August 13th, 2010 was the happiest moment of our lives and a fairy tale day we will never forget.  To start out, I woke up the very moment I heard my alarm that morning, which was set for 4:30!!! Am I crazy? YES! I honestly would never wake up at that time for anything.. Oh except for getting my hair done and makeup for my wedding.. that is about the only time.  I had my friend Cortney do my hair and luckily we knew what we wanted because we had kind of played around and practiced a couple days before.  I showed up to her house and she did not answer her door for the longest time! Turns out she had a hard time waking up.. So needless to say, I was a little bit panicked just praying that I was not going to be late for my own wedding!  Eventually she let me in and we got started. The hair really didn't take that long so I was done just barely in time to rush home, drink some chocolate milk and eat some toast for breakfast, grab my stuff and hit the road!  I'm not sure who's idea it was to take one of the earliest times for our temple sealing.  Our session was at 8:30 in the morning, which meant that everyone we invited to the sealing had to be there at 8:00 which also meant that WE had to be there at 7:00 which on the day of your wedding that is WAY too early!!! On a bright note, I got to be married to the man of my dreams basically first thing that morning :) We were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple by our temple sealer, Elder Wulstenhime (might not be the right spelling)  He was hilarious and gave such good advice. I tried to remember everything he said that morning but I may have missed some of it due to nerves setting in and looking around at everyone that was there.  Luckily, Adam remembered more and we talked about it afterward.  The sealing went great and we were so happy to have so many of our loved ones in that room with us.  That truly was a moment I will never forget.  Getting to talk to and hug everyone while standing next to my new husband and feeling like the whole world was ours at that moment!!! Thanks to everyone who came, It was a very special time for me and Adam. We knew that Adam's mom, Pam, who passed away years ago was in that room with us and I think  that, too, was a feeling that we will never forget!  After we were married, we met everyone outside of the temple to take some pictures.  It was so good to see everyone that was not in the temple with us.  I felt like a princess in my dress and Adam felt like the most handsome man as well.. which he was! Our photographer took pictures of us for about 2 hours after everyone left.  One thing I remember was my sweet friend Marlee brought some waters and a bag of different foods to snack on.  Smartest thing ANYONE could have ever done.  I would have for sure passed out from being out in the sun in my dress for that long without any food!! Thanks Mar :)  We had a reception that night at Noahs in South Jordan.  It was such a beautiful night and it could not have gone more perfect!  Here are some pictures from the best day ever...
